Z. G. Najdovski is the Founding Member of The Najdovski Law Firm,
PLLC. Concentrating in civil litigation since 1986, he focuses on
representing plaintiffs who sue on claims for medical malpractice,
construction accidents, fetal and birth injuries and other large jury
verdict cases.
He received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1983 and his J.D.
from the University of Buffalo Faculty of Law & Jurisprudence in
1986. He is admitted to practice law since 1987 in all of the Courts
of New York, the United States District Courts, the Southern and
Eastern Districts of New York, the Court of Appeals for the Second
Circuit since 1998, and in 1999 he was admitted to argue cases before
the United States Supreme Court.
With over 20 years of courtroom experience, Mr. Najdovski has actively
litigated hundreds of cases, mostly in New York, as well as New Jersey
and Connecticut. In his long career as a trial lawyer, he has made
literally thousands of court appearances in the fields of medical
malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, construction accidents,
birth injury and fetal trauma cases, spinal cord injuries and other
personal injury cases.
In 1989, he was one of the junior associates who defended New York
Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in the famous case in which the
Estate of Andy Warhol had sued the hospital for medical malpractice
and wrongful death. On another major case, he was hired to do
extensive research and appellate practice for a trial lawyer who had
successfully obtained a $55 million verdict where Lloyd's of London
was appealing that verdict.
Mr. Najdovski's specialized knowledge in litigation includes complex
civil litigation and appeals in both the Federal Courts and New York
State Courts. He has significant appellate practice experience as
well. He has been hired by other law firms to do their trials and has
been associated with top New York attorneys and lawyers specializing
in the litigation of civil tort and medical malpractice cases that go
to trial.
His extensive courtroom experience allows him to thus be tireless and
unrelenting either at trial or during oral argument before various
judges. He is a tenacious advocate for his clients, with a deep
commitment to obtaining fair terms for them. Previous clients have
attested to Mr. Najdovski's unique oratory skills and his ability to
think creatively about the cases he retains. As one client stated,
"He has the levity of a dove and the tenacity of a barracuda."
Through his experience as an Arbitrator at the New York County Civil
Court, Mr. Najdovski understands what judges look for in each case. He
has been an active member of the Association of the Bar of the City of
New York (ABCNY) and the ABCNY's Committee on Central and Eastern
European Affairs in 1998.
CNN-Atlanta, the world headquarters for CNN Wouldwide News, and Brazilian national
television have asked him to give his legal opinion on current issues in the news or
appear on televison.
